Break of Spring

Friday, March 18, 2016
It's nice to get out and enjoy a new change of pace once in awhile.

Yes, I'm talking about spring break. My spring break for the college I go to was on break all last week (yes, I'm only now talking about it, but do you expect anything less from me at this point?) and me and one of my friends flew from Salt Lake down to Phoenix where we spent a week in Mesa. And it was so much fun, y'all.

Too much fun.

I had this fun idea to go to every Temple that's in Arizona, and thankfully my friend agreed to partake in it. Even though he isn't even a member of the church. Talk about best friend goals.

And no.

We're just friends.

But really, we got to visit every one that's in Arizona, minus the one in Tucson. Renovation probs. But other than that, we saw all of them and I was really stoked.

Mesa.
Phoenix.
Gilbert.
Snowflake.
Gila Valley.

Each link goes to the specific site for each one.
And if you ever wonder why we build temples and what happens inside of them, click here.

It was a ton of fun. And since we all know at this point that I love ice cream and believe it to be its own food group, I downed more ice cream there than I probably have my whole entire obsession with it. Plus it's Arizona. And it's hot as heck there.

I think my favorite part was definitely going to Scottsdale and watching the San Francisco Giants play a spring training game! They were playing the Seattle Mariners and I thought that it was really fitting because I grew up in the Seattle area and would go to M's games fairly often with my family. It was fun rooting for the Giants... and seeing Hunter Pence hit a home run..... even though they lost.

Go figure!

I wanted more than anything to spam everyone on Instagram all the fun goings on, but I still kept my "one post a day" thing on there. It was tough though! So if anyone wants to see pretty Temples and a good close up of Hunter Pence, go to my Insta! The links to all my social media are up top.

Other than those things, my spring break was pretty low key. I did a lot of relaxing and being poolside. I did everything I wanted do over break so I definitely didn't hate it!

Here's to another spring break at the end of the month!
